Calvin teaching New Mexico History at New Mexico Junior College where he also taught Stewardship Archaeology and 15 different museology courses while serving as a professor and chairman of the Department of Museum Studies at Baylor University. He is currently teaching, Introduction to Archaeology, Cultures of the Southwest and summer field schools at Trinidad State
